I spent the first 14 years of my life in Shanghai and moved to Toronto ~5 years ago. Ever since elementary school, I have been extremely extroverted. I enjoyed talking to people and being around people. I played the piano starting from 3 years old and stopped when I entered middle school (played the guitar for a little bit too), but I still enjoy playing music. I started roller figure skating in primary school and competed citywide and nationwide for a few times. Got champions in a few Shanghai competitions. After moving to Canada, I transitioned to ice figure skating, which has always been my dream. I never got good enough to be competitive and it has been a regret. (my fav jump is salchow).
Reading has always been a huge part of me. I especially enjoy reading memoirs and autobiographies. My favourite books are The Glass Castle, When Breath Becomes Air, and Everything I Know About Love.
I love traveling, and every year I make sure I go to a new country (favourite ones so far are Korea, New Zealand, and Iceland).

My dream is to become a surgeon with strong technical background and develop healthcare technology from the perspective of a physician.
