Fiona's College & Career Goals

Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring new things and places. I love to travel to different places spontaneously and try new food. Traveling is a big part of my life and I hope to one day go to Korea. In my free time, I also enjoy drawing, crafting and watercoloring. I just love to try new things during my free time to enrich my knowledge. I am not dedicated to any sports team, but I enjoy playing badminton and pickleball with my friends and think it is a great way to exercise. In addition, I really enjoy Board Games and think that it is a great way to train my thinking. Currently, I am trying to join a dance project to train my dance skill and really get on top of exercising.

My short term goals in college is to live through the freshman year having already tried everything and figured out what is my actual interest. In long term, I wish to gain enough knowledge and friendship that can help me through the rest of my life and have a fulfilling college life. In my future career, I hope to get the job I really wanted and develop meaningful friendships.

What do you look for in a potential big sister? (personality traits, type of relationship, dynamic)

I am looking for a optimistic person, who is caring and nice, but also have their own goals and purposes in life. I hope to bond closely with that Big Sister like me and my actual older sister. I am open to all kind of personality traits as long as we bond well and is able to have fun together.

who do you look up to?

I look up the most to my Mom and Dad because it is because of them I was able to attend Carnegie Mellon University and studied in United States. Since I am a first generation college student, I thought it was impressive that they were able to come this far through the struggles and I hope to be one day like them.

What kind of personalities do you get along with?

I think I get along with all kind of personalities as long as they are not too quiet. Because I am a very talkative person and can hold all kind of conversations.

What are three qualities that you look for in friends?

Honestly, Caring and Nonjudgemental

I am proud of that I was able to get into CMU as a first Gen student.
