My goals in college is to study hard, have fun, and discover what I want to pursue in life. But my ultimate goal is to live in NYC comfortably working a job I love.

What do you look for in a potential big sister? (personality traits, type of relationship, dynamic)

Someone who is funny, nice, understands my humor, somewhat outgoing (but also doesn't have to be)

who do you look up to?

Definitely my mom - she's the strongest person I know because she had the resilience and bravery to immigrate here and raise my brother and I as a single parent.

What kind of personalities do you get along with?

I think I get along with people who are funny. I think I'm kind of like an extroverted introvert or an introverted extrovert, so I'm able to get along with both types of personalities quite well.

Something I'm proud of is having the discipline to push myself everyday.

What do you hope to gain from the New Member Process for Kappa Phi Lambda?

Through the Kappa Phi Lambda new member process, I hope to grow not only as a student but also as a person. I'm looking forward to forming meaningful connections with a group of strong, inspiring women who value sisterhood, leadership, and cultural appreciation. As someone who values community, I’m excited to be part of something that feels supportive, empowering, and rooted in shared values.

I also want to challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone and grow in confidence. I hope to learn more about Kappa Phi Lambda’s history, traditions, and core values—and how those play a role in shaping strong, driven leaders both within and beyond the organization. I'm especially interested in developing leadership and communication skills, and learning how to better contribute to a team while also growing individually.
