I like playing badminton, running, reading, journaling, making drinks (I use to work at a boba shop), painting, sketching, watching cdramas (i love u zhang rangrang), yapping with friends, keeping up with politics, taking photos of my friend's cooking and posting it on insta to look like I cooked it, gaming (valorant, tetris, mc, overcooked), doing makeup, dressing up, and teaching :]

I want to have a fun college experience! Meet a lot of new people, find out who I want to be around and what I want to do. I would like to become a lawyer in NYC when I'm older, and then down the line, either become a Supreme Court justice or a law professor depending on where my life takes me. My main goals are to make lots of money for my parents, play lots of badminton, hang out with my friends and make fun memories, and curate the best closet ever!

What do you look for in a potential big sister? (personality traits, type of relationship, dynamic)

Someone I'm super comfortable around and who won't judge me for being super annoying and over the top! Someone who would be willing to just rot together sometimes :D My older sister moved to china when I was younger, and I almost never see her. I guess I just miss having someone to annoy all the time, steal clothing from, and yap about my horrible life decisions to....and copy. If I look up to you I'll become ur mini me fr

who do you look up to?

My best friend Zoey Yong. She's so incredibly disciplined, smart, and passionate. She's my role model and the person that was there for me through all of the hardest moments in college. If I could have even a quarter of her work ethic, her skills in badminton, or her kindness, I would die happily. I love Zoey Yong <3

What kind of personalities do you get along with?

I would like to think I get along with anyone who wants to get along with me! Aside from people that don't like my vibe, I'm usually happy to be friends with anyone. I like introverts because it's so nice to just hang with some people in peaceful quiet. They're usually the funniest secretly. I love extroverts because they match my energy so well and it's so fun to be silly and goofy. I feel safe at parties and hangouts when I'm around my extrovert friends. I think all personalities have interesting characteristics and experiences to offer!

What do you hope to gain from the New Member Process for Kappa Phi Lambda?

I like when people do small things for me! I always feel bad asking for help so I never do, but my friends will make me dinner unprompted if they think I'm stressed out. Or like, my roommates will peel me oranges and buy me a jug of watermelon every time they're at wholefoods. When I'm upset, I like it when people are willing to listen and reason things out with me. If I ever sulk or feel wronged by something, my parents use to bring me cut fruit. That kinda stuff is my love language now. The small things matter to me a lot.

I'm really proud of the person I am today! I worked really hard to be here and happy. Everyday is a good day because it's a day I get to be in my own skin and live my life. I know that sounds cliche but I genuinely am so proud of the progress I've made in my academics, badminton, and social life.

I hope to learn more about the Kappa Phi Lambda community/history, but more importantly, I want to know more about all the sisters and my potential line sisters!
