I love pilates/working out(although i have been attempting to hit the gym for the past few months hehe), shopping(especially online), and watching movies/kdramas.

My college and career goals encompass a dual focus on academic achievement and personal fulfillment. I am driven to excel academically, seeking to challenge myself intellectually and acquire knowledge that will prepare me for success in my chosen field. However, alongside this pursuit of academic excellence, I am equally committed to discovering what truly brings me happiness and fulfillment. I view college not only as a place to gain skills and knowledge but also as an opportunity for self-discovery. Through exploring different subjects, engaging in extracurricular activities, and building relationships with peers and mentors, I aim to uncover my passions and strengths. What do you look for in a potential big sister? (personality traits, type of relationship, dynamic)

I would like my potential big sister to be someone who is fun, patient, and understanding. A sense of fun adds excitement and joy to our shared experiences, making our time together memorable and enjoyable. Patience is essential for navigating challenges and conflicts, allowing us to work through differences with grace and respect. Understanding fosters empathy and connection, enabling us to support each other through both triumphs and setbacks. Together, these qualities create a tight-knitted sisterhood within our sorority, where we can laugh together, grow together, and lean on each other as we navigate the ups and downs of college life and even beyond our college life.

who do you look up to?

I look up to one of my high school advisor the most. What really inspires me about her is her work ethic and her bravery. She is not afraid to take risks and take chance at every opportunity she gets. At this point, she has done everything you can imagine one can do. Also, no matter how busy she gets, she somehow always manage to keep up with every tasks at hand. I believe I can learn a lot from someone like her.

What kind of personalities do you get along with?

I find myself getting along with genuine and positive people. Especially during my time here at CMU, where everyone is always stressed, it is very easy to not only bring yourself down but others down as well, so I believe it is important to surround myself with people who are willing to show their best self regardless, not saying that you must ignore or suppress your emotions, but rather that surrounding yourself with individuals that can provide support and encouragement during challenging times. These people can serve as a source of inspiration and motivation, helping you maintain a positive outlook and navigate through stressful situations more effectively. It's important to cultivate relationships with people who uplift and inspire you, as they can have a significant impact on your mindset and emotional state.

What traits do you value in a person?

I value people who are honest, kind, and fun. Honesty builds trust and fosters genuine connections, while kindness promotes empathy and compassion in our interactions. The addition of fun injects joy and positivity into our relationships, creating memorable experiences and moments of laughter that strengthen our bonds. These qualities together create a dynamic and supportive social circle where open communication, mutual respect, and shared enjoyment thrive. Whether it's sharing heartfelt conversations, lending a helping hand, or simply enjoying each other's company, surrounding myself with individuals who embody these traits enriches my life and brings warmth to every interaction.

What do you hope to gain from the New Member Process for Kappa Phi Lambda?

From the New Member Process for KPL I aspire to undergo personal growth and emerge with a stronger sense of confidence in who I am. This journey serves as an opportunity for self-discovery and exploration, allowing me to embrace my unique qualities and strengths while also acknowledging areas for improvement. I aim to gain a deeper understanding of myself and my place within the sorority community. By actively participating in the various activities, discussions, and events during the NMP, I anticipate developing the confidence to express myself authentically and contribute meaningfully to the group. This experience will definitely empower me to navigate future challenges with greater self-assurance and resilience, both within KPL and in other aspects of my life.
