Hii I'm Cathy! I grew up in Beijing, China, but I now live in New Jersey. When I was growing up, my family moved around a lot, so I learned to love seeing new places and meeting new people. Recently, I started working on my sketchbook again. It's super relaxing, and a way for me to look back on my adventures here at Pittsburgh. Aside from drawing, I'm hoping to crochet a lot this semester and create a couple of new patterns. I'd love to do more, but my concepts homework takes me so long. Another one of my hobbies is playing the clarinet. The best memories in high school were probably when I played for my state's wind ensemble, and playing in pit orchestra for the musical each spring. I love musicals so much and my favorite is definitely Chicago. Also, I am a proud foodie. I'm not a picky eater at all and I have no allergies, so anything from leftovers to fine dining is pretty good. Coming from a public high school, I realized that my standards for food are pretty low. But it actually turned out pretty well because I like the food here at Carnegie Mellon. I've been going to Rev Noodles and the salad place a lot the past two weeks, so I'm looking to try more places off campus soon!
