Hi! I’m Chloe Xu, a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University studying Psychology with a minor in Human-Computer Interaction. I hope to switch majors to IS! I’m passionate about UX/UI design and creative problem-solving, especially at the intersection of technology and human behavior.

I love making art (my art instagram is @stariicat, although its very inactive) and creating things in general. I love all sorts of art mediums like watercolor, oil pastel, color pencil, etc but my favorite is acrylic paint! I really like doing realism but also stylized/anime art, as well as animations/animatics. I consider myself a pretty crafty or hands-on person, for example I also like to make keychains and jewelry as well as clay figures and nails! I always hand make any birthday cards to people to show my appreciation :))

I’m from Boston, MA but I was born in Maine. I have two older brothers, Kevin is 26 and Evan is 25. I really look up to them and miss spending time with them. Outside of design and art, I love exploring the city, finding new restaurants, and spending time with animals. I LOVE ANIMALS. My dream is to have 2 cats and a dog (fun fact: i'm actually allergic to cats! but it wont stop me). Some of my favorite animals are cats, dogs, ducks, marmots, otters, seals, and mongooses!
