Hi, my name is Ke, and I’m a freshman majoring in Business Administration. I was born in Shanghai, China, and moved to Irvine, California when I was around six or seven years old. I have an older brother, Kevin, who’s currently pursuing his master’s degree in Chicago.

Growing up, I played both the violin and piano, so music has always been a big part of my life. These days, I’m especially passionate about R&B, hip-hop, and old-school tracks. In the future, I hope to combine my love for music with my business background—ideally working in the music industry as a financial manager or in another business-related role.

Outside of school, I love discovering new food spots. My favorite cuisines are probably Korean, Chinese, and Mexican. I’ve worked as a barista at a coffee and boba shop, which deepened my love for both. My go-to drinks are an iced americano or latte, and for boba, jasmine green tea is my favorite.

I also enjoy traveling, especially to big cities like New York and Chicago. I love the fast-paced energy, diverse food scenes, and fashion culture. Some of my favorite brands are Ralph Lauren, Chrome Hearts, BAPE, and Stüssy.

When I’m just relaxing, I’m usually watching sitcoms or comedy/romance movies. I love shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Mr & Mrs Smith, and Abbott Elementary. Some of my favorite movies include White Chicks, F1, Hitch, and The Notebook.
